A massive effort from the Organiser, Kay Wheeler, and all the volunteers who worked in the humid conditions and the Redland City Council for providing the skip bins and the supplier of the lovely morning tea.
Volunteers from WRCC and OzFish filled 6 skip bins, 2 large and 4 small, with rubbish such as timber, floats, wire, bottles, cans, rope, tyres, metal and other muddy rubbish.
Clean up area: The Creek near the Clubhouse and mangrove island using the large OzFish vessel, the WRCC punt and kayaks. Plus a group walked the banks and the floodplain area collecting rubbish discarded and rubbish washed up by the floods and high tides.
